The Sonnox Oxford Limiter (Native) is a transparent limiter plug-in for adding volume to your tracks without sacrificing the detail of your mix. A powerful plug-in that puts you in control of the dynamics of your mix, the Oxford Limiter can operate clean and gentle or aggressive and in your face. Comprised of three sections that include input and output sections and a pre-process section which enables Oxford Limiter to look ahead and analyse the audio before it reaches the output stage. Keeping the bottom end and detail of your signal intact, the pre-process section maintains the tone and stereo width of your production without introducing any distortion.
Controls over the attack, release and up to 10dB of soft knee limiting are included alongside a wide range of powerful parameters including Safe Mode, Recon Meter and Auto Comp and Enhancement. Flexible enough to handle anything thrown at it, Oxford Limiter can be used on individual tracks to add excitement via the Enhance control for added tube-like saturation, boosting the perceived volume of your instrument as well as full mastering applications to lift the level of your tracks transparently.
The perfect tool for mastering engineers, Oxford Limiter features metering above 0dB which can be engaged when viewing any reconstruction errors via the Recon Meter switch. These errors can be corrected using the Auto Comp switch to maintain the true peak level. Five unique dithering types can be applied at either 16 or 24-bit with variable depth controls to audition directly in the plug-in with no external processes needed.
