The Steven Slate TRIGGER 2 Blackbird Expansion delivers the signature sounds of one of the world’s most well-respected studios into your productions. Engineered by studio founder, John McBride and recorded by drummer Chris Tyrell, the Blackbird Expansion delivers the best of the best in every aspect. Using a combination of rare, vintage microphones and top-shelf drums from some of the best manufacturers in the industry including Craviotto and Gretsch Round Badge shells, only the finest equipment was used in this session. Six kick drums, ten snares and seven complete sets of toms are included to provide you a full range of drum tones to experiment with in your productions.
An all-encompassing sample library, both Room A and Room D of Blackbird studio were used including the corresponding reverb chamber to provide a selection of different spaces, ambience and microphone mixing possibilities. Tight and dry sounds as well as huge and explosive sounds are both at your fingertips. Running through boutique hardware, preamps and other equipment ensures that the Blackbird Expansion delivers instant professional sounds right out of the box, with no additional processing required to sit into your mix.
