Garritan Harps is a library that has meticulously sampled every string of each harp included. Coming in a range of sizes all the way up to full sized concert harps, this library features samples from some of the finest harp makers in the world, such as Venus, Salvi and Lyon & Healy. The pedals are also emulated so you can compose realistic music and have authentic glissandos. A range of dynamics and articulation have been painstakingly sampled, as well as special effects. This level of effort and detail allows you to write truly idiomatic harp parts.
This library uses the ARIA player, also used by Garritan’s other libraries. ARIA Player is a free software that can either run as a standalone program or as a plug-in (AU, VST or RTAS) in DAWs, sequencers or notation software. This makes Garritan’s libraries ideal for many musicians, whether you are a producer in a studio or a live performing musician. ARIA player also features Endless Wave technology for efficient streaming of samples from the hard disk.
