What do we do?

Price Alerts
One of our key features is the ability to set custom price alerts on products. When you sign up for a price alert, you will be notified by email when a product has met your price requirements. You can set the alert for any price drop, lowest recorded price, new historical low or set your own custom price. Thousands of Artists, Producers, Composers, and Mixing/Mastering Engineers have taken advantage of this FREE tool!
Price History
One of the best ways to check if a deal on MSD is truly a deal is by making full use of our Price History section.
You’ll find this feature on every plugin and sample library page. It lets you track price trends over time, showing when and where products go on sale and how prices fluctuate across different stores.
You can also view all the retailers offering a product and toggle them on or off to compare their individual price histories.
Check out the example below to see how it works — it’s a great way to make sure you’re always getting the best value possible.
A part of the Price History section that sometimes causes confusion is the Lowest Price and Last Sale Price listings.
- Lowest Price – The lowest recorded price for the product since we began tracking it.
- Last Sale Price – The price and date of the most recent sale. This may also reflect the current ongoing sale if one is active.
One thing to note is that the Last Sale Price will still be displayed even when a product is not currently on sale. In these cases, you’ll see a “Not on Sale” label on the product image, and the Active Sales section will be replaced with Last Sale Price information instead.
