The simple and intuitive interface allows you to easily dial in the sound you want with six easy-to-use controls. Controls include Drive, Normalize, Tone, Bias, Spread and Mix. There is also a sidechain option that you can use to allow a secondary input to control the phase shift amount.
Unlike conventional distortion effects, Phase Distortion allows you to modulate the phase signal instead of changing the overall amplitude for a more controlled and varied sound, similar to feedback FM. You can easily create stereo-style effects using the spread to offset the phase for the left/right channels. Using the ‘Tone’ control you can also reduce high-frequency noise which is great for cleaning up signals and shaping your overall sound.
