Not only can it be used when creating music; Dark Side is a powerful tool when composing for film, TV and video games. Opening the plugin, you’re presented with a GUI that matches the overall feel of the plugin. The intuitive interface features onboard filtering and a 5-stage envelope for shaping your sound.
Comprised of pre-rendered sounds; Dark Side processes the sounds using analog vintage and tube effect chains resulting in distorted and mangled sounds. Curated and produced by award-winners Doug Roger and David Fridmann, Dark Side was the winner of the MIPA award due to its versatile sonic palette and unique instrumentation. Add further depth to your sounds using the onboard effects including a reverb, delay and stereo doubler.
